An Evening of Shining Stars Annual Talent Show

One of the area’s most anticipated events !!

“An Evening of Shining Stars” — featuring members of the special needs community, has taken place in the spring every year since 2012!

Founded by Cranford resident Sally Curci, the annual showcase features a talented cast ready to sing and dance their way into your hearts as they share their amazing talents.

And for the past two years, the Shining Stars have taken over the professional stage at the beautiful and historic Union County Performing Arts Center — where many of America’s biggest names have performed.

Promoting Inclusion…

Prepare to be amazed as our special needs performers and their high school “buddies” take the stage in front of an audience of over 1,000 — who join in with the singing and dancing. We always encourage audience participation!

When the lights go up, the “stars” always shine, entertaining with solo acts and full-cast dance choreography — which is one of the highlights of the show.

“We are so excited to give our special cast the chance to perform at such a great venue. The audience is wonderful and our performers are just amazing. Each and every year our audience has grown along with our cast. They continue to inspire us every day.”
– Sally Curci, Director –

“We want it to be like being on Broadway. Our performers show us how inspiring and talented they are, and the audience’s support is simply fantastic. We can’t wait to do this again every year. Everyone is always very excited.”
– Mike Curci, President of Shining Stars Network –

“We continue to be inspired by our Shining Stars talents every day. This is a wonderful chance for our cast to not only learn new songs and choreography but to build all-important self-confidence and self-esteem, which they take with them away from the stage.”
– Nicole Greene, Co-Director –

Adam Fleissner, who has performed in every Shining Stars show, can’t wait to take the stage again, as he prepares to sing a Broadway tune. “We meet so many great people,” said Fleissner. “We get a growing audience every year and everyone has a good time meeting each other and performing. All of it is just fantastic.”
