Shining Stars Network was created to fill a gap that too many families know well: as children with special needs grow older, opportunities for consistent inclusion, belonging, and creative expression often begin to fade.
Through the performing arts, we bring together individuals with special needs, peer buddies, families, and supporters in a community that grows together year after year.
When inclusion fades
Many individuals with special needs lose access to consistent opportunities for connection, creativity, and peer belonging as they grow older—especially once school-based support begins to change or end.

What began with a simple karaoke moment among friends became a vision for something more: a place where performers with special needs and the broader community could come together through the arts in a way that felt real, welcoming, and lasting.
That vision became Shining Stars Network—and it continues to grow with every performer, buddy, family, and supporter who joins us.
