Open to everyone aged 21+, including individuals with special needs.
Shining Stars Network created this program to give adults a welcoming place to express themselves, connect with others, and experience the joy of performing arts in a truly inclusive community.
Why this program matters
Too often, adults with special needs and others looking for meaningful, creative community have limited opportunities to participate, belong, and shine together. This workshop is designed to change that by creating a supportive space where every participant is encouraged, included, and celebrated.

What to expect
This in-person program includes guided rehearsal classes focused on both individual and group performance. Participants are supported as they grow their skills, try new things, and work together toward a final showcase.

Program areas
Acting
Strengthen confidence, storytelling, and stage presence while having fun.
Dancing
Learn movement and choreography as part of both solo and group performances.
Singing
Develop vocal confidence and enjoy performing as part of a supportive ensemble.
Cost
$1600.00 for all three courses
OR
$530.00 per course
DDD Goods & Services funding accepted for eligible participants.

All rehearsals will be held at Fanwood Presbyterian Church.

Course Dates: August 17th – 28th, 2026
Monday – Friday
9:00am – 11:00am (Vocal Course)
11:00am – 1:00pm (Dance Course)
1:00pm – 3:00pm (Theatre Course)
Participants must take all three courses to perform in the showcase.
